My Mom used to say that thoughts are things, that we should be ever aware of the thoughts that we have.  Her belief was, as is mine, that what we think becomes reality. Most times it's not the spoken thought out ideas we think, but more times than not, it is the subconscious thoughts that dwell in our minds.
